Association and Board of Trustees

The Christian Academy Association represents the moral ownership of The Christian Academy. This is a collection of individuals who by their prayers, volunteerism, and contributions show care and concern for the direction and performance of The Christian Academy, its Board, and faculty.

Membership is open to all who subscribe annually to the provisions of Articles ll and lll of the Constitution, and whose yearly financial contribution toward the annual budget is $250 or more.  Members over the age of twenty-one shall have the right to vote at the meetings of the Association and to hold office.

The Christian Academy operates as an independent school.  We are not affiliated with, nor do we receive financial support, from a particular denomination or church body. The TCA Board of Trustees, the school’s governing body, is responsible for the mission, vision, and strategic goals of the school and for hiring, encouraging, supporting, and evaluating the head of school, its only employee. The Board is comprised of TCA supporters with a variety of affiliations, including current and past parents, alumni, members of the TCA community, and the head of school. Trustees volunteer their time for board activities, including attendance at board meetings and participation on committees.
